Wigan Athletic will pay tribute to goalkeeping coach Kevin Miller with a minute's applause and special shirts before their League One match against Wycombe Wanderers. The club confirmed the plans following Miller's death at the age of 57.

Players will warm up in shirts featuring Miller's image, and a minute's applause will be held ahead of kick-off at the Brick Community Stadium. Supporters are also planning a further tribute with applause in the 57th minute of the game.
Kevin Miller joined Wigan Athletic's first-team staff during the summer after more than three years as goalkeeping coach at Exeter City. He made over 700 appearances as a player for clubs including Exeter, Watford and Crystal Palace, becoming a respected and popular figure at the DW Stadium in a short time.
The Category B fixture sees a Latics side 23rd in the standings host 20th-placed Wycombe. The team's recent form, with just four points from their opening six games, means this home match is key. Their last outing was a goalless draw at Sheffield Wednesday, a result detailed in the club's stats for the season. The Family Zone, located under the Kingdom East Stand, opens at 12:45pm for 'Crusty’s Carnival'. Junior Latics can enjoy circus skills workshops, party games and other carnival activities until 2:45pm. Entry is free and the zone includes a refreshment kiosk. It operates for two hours before all Saturday and Tuesday evening kick-offs.
The Latics Store is open from 10am until kick-off, selling all current season kits including the new third shirt 'Uniform 3'.
